FAQ

Why PC/Windows only?

This is my first commercial game release and I want to make sure to get it right on one platform. Chances for a mobile port are slim at the moment and I cannot build for MAC currently, as I don't have access to a MAC computer. I want to look into releasing on Nintendo Switch in the future, maybe after Early Access!

What's the expected play-time of Tiny Rogues?

A successful run in Tiny Rogues, from Floor 1-1 to Floor 10-10 takes about 30 to 35 minutes. In true rogue-lite fashion, you are not done after beating the final boss the one time. The game offers a lot to discover and unlock. A friend of mine has been play-testing the game for over 6 hours by now and is still coming back for more. So currently, I'd say Tiny Rogues offers at least 10 hours of fun, but as I add more content to the game during early access, this number will sky-rocket!

What engine did you use?

I used Unity to develop the game.

How long did it take you to make the game?

I work a part-time job as a software developer while also trying to make games and being an indie dev, so it took about 6 months to get to the early access ready version of Tiny Rogues. In those 6 months, I must have spent thousands of hours working on the game, I didn't really count but I worked on it every day.

Did you have any help making the game?

I have a few close friends who sometimes help me out solving difficult programming problems. They also play-test my game! Aside from that, I am quite active on fiverr and hire free lancers to make things that I cannot or have not acquired the skills to do so yet. For example the Soundtrack of the game, the Logo or the Splash Art!
